I was hoping if there could be an opportunity for a concert directed at younger adults and couples.
I am a 24 year old student at the Con and I can't think of anything better than sitting on a blanket in South Bank listening to songs from yesteryear with my significant other.
Are doing such events possible in the Parklands? Is there a way the area may be catered or have a temporary alcohol license?

Performing for younger musicians and younger people in general is really one of our passions.Good on you for seeking a career in music..it is a difficult, frustrating but rewarding path. Outdoor opera performances, such as something at South Bank is our specialty of course, and we have just come back from a successful 5th Opera in the Ruins Festival. A few years back we were engaged by the ABC to do a big Opera in the Park event at the Riverstage. This year we are planning a couple of big outdoor events outside of Brisbane so make sure you keep coming back to this blog and/or are on our e-mailing list. Cheers Stewart
We have some plans for some outdoor events on the Sunshine Coast as it has some great locations for such events. We'll let you know as sson as they are on sale so you can organize a group
